Dr. Michelle Quirk is a pediatrician, run coach, and founder of Mindful Marathon. She shares how she went from someone who would come in last for the mile run in school to becoming a marathon runner and coaching others on running.
She started running when she had an unprecedented period of stress in her personal and work life. Through running, she experienced an unexpected life transformation which helped her prioritize self care and form healthy boundaries. The mental space that was created as a result of running also helped her realize she was in burnout and needed to pursue a change in her work life.
